In Luke chapter 8 Jesus and His disciples are on a ship when the waves start to rock the boat. While the storm raged around them, Jesus slept calmly. The disciples feared they would be shipwrecked and rushed to Jesus for help. His response? Jesus said, “Where is your faith,” spoke to the storm, and it immediately was calm. 

The idea is not that WE are stronger than the storm, only Jesus is, but He is the calm to any storm we may ever face. With Jesus on our side, THEN we are stronger than the storm!
