Finding Joy In Everyday Moments

Finding Joy in Everyday Moments 🌸

"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24

Mama, take a deep breath. Yes, right now. It might feel like your days are bursting at the seams—with work deadlines, spilled juice, parent pick-up lines, and endless to-dos—but in the middle of the chaos, God is inviting you to pause and notice the beauty in the little things.

Joy is the sweet handwritten "I love you, mom!" note left by your first grader. It's a toddler's sweet belly laugh as he spins around on the rug. Joy is seeing Spring bringing the landscape back to life overnight and the tender prayers whispered in the quiet of your morning routine. These moments might seem small, but they’re God’s way of gently reminding you that joy is here, right now, right where you are, waiting to be noticed.

Even if we're intentional about noticing these little moments of joy, it's no secret that life as a mom can still feel overwhelming at times. Between the constant demands of little ones, the endless to-do lists, and trying to balance work, home, and kiddos the weight gets heavy some days. You might feel stretched thin, wondering how to balance it all while still holding onto the joy God desires for you.

The path might feel overwhelming at times, but it’s one that God has specifically equipped you to walk. Here's the beautiful truth, Sis: you are uniquely made for this role, for this place, and for this season.

On the tough days when it seems impossible to juggle it all, remember this: it’s okay to give yourself grace. God sees you. He knows you. Life isn’t about perfection. It’s about faith, growth, and resting in His peace. You’re doing so much more than you give yourself credit for!

Take a moment today to slow down. Laugh a little louder. Hug a little tighter. Thank God for the messy, beautiful life He’s gifted you with. Because joy isn’t something we have to chase after—it’s woven into the moments we’re living right now.

You’ve got this, Mama. And He’s got you. Always. 💛
